VW 1500 Members: Johannes Krasenbrink's 1961 Notchback

BACKGROUND: Johannes Krasenbrink, owner since 1989 bought this very early notchback from the original owner. The dealership used this car as a promotional vehicle to excite the public about the T3 from late 61 through 62. In October of 62 it was sold to the original owner who kept and covered this notch till Johannes bought it. The interior is in great shape and all original to the car. Accessories include a rare Telefunken Bajazzo radio.
RESTORATION: Future plans include a full restoration, salvaging any and all rare parts along the way. When finished this car will be among some of the most early, original and complete examples around.
